​WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has issued a fierce warning to Tehran, declaring that Iran will pay “many times over” for every American service member killed as a renewed conflict grips the Middle East.

​The stark warning follows a devastating weekend of casualties that brought the total death toll of U.S. personnel in the war to at least 17.
