Port Harcourt, Rivers State – A massive fire erupted at Nobpet Filling Station, situated opposite the Air Force Base along the busy Airport Road in Port Harcourt, today, Friday, May 16, 2025, following a suspected gas explosion. Eyewitness accounts suggest the explosion, believed to have originated from the gas section of the filling station, occurred around midday.
