Prof. Oluwatoyin Abimbola Babalola, an expert in Soil Microbiology from the Department of Soil Science and Land Management (SSLM), College of Plant Science and Crop Production (COLPLANT), of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is set to deliver the 86th Inaugural Lecture of the university.
The 86th Inaugural Lecture is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building at 2:00 p.m.
This is according to a release made available by Olasunkanmi Olajide, Ag. Head, Directorate of Public Relations, FUNAAB.
The statement read : The Lecture, titled “Soil Microbes: Nature’s Workforce for Soil Quality Maintenance, and Sustenance of Environmental Integrity,” promises to shed light on the critical role of soil microbes in maintaining soil quality and preserving environmental balance.
”The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde would serve as the Chief Host”.
