FCE Abeokuta Launches NUC-Approved Degree Programmes

Federal College of Education, Abeokuta (FCEA), Ogun State’s pioneer tertiary institution since 1976, has received National Universities Commission (NUC) approval to offer 29 full-time undergraduate degree programmes starting the 2025/2026 session. This milestone allows 100-level entry for UTME candidates scoring 150 or above in the 2025 JAMB, plus 200-level Direct Entry for others, even if FCEA was not their first choice—applicants simply change institutions. The college, spanning 633 hectares in Osiele, upholds its reputation as Nigeria’s peaceful teacher-training benchmark with modern facilities and no session disruptions from strikes. ​
