FUNAAB : Pro-Chancellor Congratulates Newly Appointed Provost, DVC Development, Council Representatives, Others

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, Asoludero, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land, has extended warm congratulations to Prof. Jonathan Atungwu on his well-deserved appointment as the Provost of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan (FCAIB).

The Pro-Chancellor lauded Prof. Atungwu’s unwavering commitment and dedication during his time as a member of the Governing Council, where he served as a representative of the Congregation, describing the appointment as a recognition of merit and excellence.

Similarly, Oba Olabomi congratulated Prof. Mufutau Atayese on his successful election as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), expressing confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of the University.

The Pro-Chancellor also felicitated with Prof. Abdul Lateef Shotuyo and Mr. Olujinmi Ogundimu on their emergence as Congregation Representatives on the Governing Council for the Academic and Non-Teaching Staff categories, respectively.

Furthermore, he extended his congratulations to all other members elected into various committees during the 37th Congregation Meeting of the University.
