The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education (FME), today September 8, 2022 inaugurated the Governing Councils of four Federal Universities of Agriculture at the Idris Abdulkadir Auditorium of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja.

ValidViewNetwork reports that the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB and the other Universities of Agriculture have been without a Governing Council for some time.

FUNNAB recently recorded a giant stride, emerging as the only specialised University that was rated top on the World Academic Ranking alongside the Premier University, University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
