The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially launched the Inter-University Transfer application process for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement, made through a memo from the Deputy Registrar I, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, outlines the eligibility criteria and application procedure for prospective transfer students.
Applicants interested in transferring to FUNAAB must be duly matriculated students of accredited Nigerian universities with admission approval by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, candidates must submit an official academic transcript demonstrating strong academic performance, with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale for Agricultural programs, or 3.50 for Engineering and Science programs, as verified at the end of the second semester of the current academic year.
A non-refundable application fee of ₦40,000, inclusive of REMITA processing charges, is required. The fee payment commenced Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Candidates are advised to follow the official online application procedure: visit admission.funaab.edu.ng, read the transfer instructions carefully, log in using their JAMB registration number as indicated on their admission letter, complete the transfer application form, print it, and submit the filled form physically at the Senate and Admissions Unit.
This initiative presents an important opportunity for students seeking academic advancement within the agricultural, engineering, and science disciplines at one of Nigeria’s premier specialized universities. FUNAAB urges potential transfer applicants to adhere strictly to the guidelines provided to ensure successful application consideration.
