Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, recently received the Forum of Female Chief Executives of Government Agencies and Organizations at the State House in Abuja. The forum, led by Honorable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, DG of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), comprises 24 dynamic women CEOs who have pledged their unwavering support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as Senator Tinubu’s own Renewed Hope Initiative.

In her welcoming remarks, Senator Tinubu emphasized the critical role these female leaders play in mentoring younger women across Nigeria. She urged the forum members to actively empower the next generation through opportunities, scholarships, and ongoing support systems that promote sustainable development for women nationwide. Drawing inspiration from iconic female trailblazers such as Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Margaret Ekpo, Gambo Sawaba, and Abibat Mogaji, she stressed the importance of unity among Nigerian women to build a stronger, more inclusive society where women’s lives are made easier and more fulfilling.
Significantly, Senator Tinubu reiterated her call for a collaborative partnership aimed at the completion of the National Library project in Abuja. This vital national institution promises to be an invaluable resource for indigent students and researchers, providing access to a wealth of knowledge and learning materials essential for academic and intellectual growth. With renewed government commitment and funding channeled through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), the library’s long-delayed construction is set to resume, underscoring the priority placed on educational infrastructure.

The collective solidarity and commitment demonstrated by these female CEOs have deeply inspired Senator Tinubu. With such formidable support aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda, she expressed optimism that Nigeria is on a transformative path toward creating an environment where women can thrive, lead, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
This gathering marks a significant milestone for female leadership in Nigeria, highlighting a shared vision for women’s empowerment across all sectors of government and society.
