Explosion Sparks Massive Fire at Chevron’s El Segundo Refinery

A powerful explosion rocked Chevron’s El Segundo oil refinery in southern California on Thursday evening, igniting a massive fireball that lit up the night sky and sent thick plumes of smoke soaring for miles across the South Bay area.
