Investigators identified the suspects, who had planned to smuggle the diamond out of the country by hiding it in a refrigerator bound for an Asian nation.

Raids were coordinated at multiple locations, and all three suspects were apprehended before the diamond could leave Dubai. The stone, notable for its “Fancy Intense” classification and excellent clarity, symmetry, and polish, has been safely recovered.
