Diri Ignites Bayelsa West with Ekeremor-Agge Road Construction, Targets Atlantic Ocean Link

Ekeremor, Bayelsa State – A new dawn is breaking for the riverine communities of Bayelsa West Senatorial District as Governor Douye Diri’s “Government of Assured Prosperity” officially commences construction on the highly anticipated Ekeremor-Agge Road. This monumental undertaking, which began with clearing, excavation, bond wall creation, and sand filling, marks a significant step towards fulfilling the long-held aspirations of the state’s founding fathers to unlock the vast potential of its aquatic landscape.

Following the successful completion of the Sagbama/Ekeremor section of the Bayelsa West Senatorial road, the focus has now shifted to extending this vital artery all the way to Agge community on the fringes of the Atlantic Ocean. The initial phase of this ambitious project specifically targets the stretch from Ekeremor main town to Toru-Ndoro community.

Governor Diri, hailed as a “change agent,” is simultaneously pushing forward with road construction across all three senatorial districts, aiming to connect them to the Atlantic Ocean at strategic points like Agge, Koluama, and Brass Island.
