Ejigbo, Lagos – A family is in anguish as the search intensifies for their 5-year-old child, abducted by a man who posed as a “good Samaritan” last month. The incident occurred on March 9th, during Ramadan, when the man encountered two siblings returning from Ile Kewu (Islamic school).
According to reports, the man, described as middle-aged, engaged the children and offered to take them shopping. While at a supermarket in Ejigbo, the older sibling became distressed, attracting attention. In the ensuing confusion, the man seized the younger child, aged 5, and fled in a chartered tricycle (Keke), abandoning the older sibling.
Despite the family’s efforts and the publication of the suspect’s image, the child remains missing. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The family pleads for the public’s assistance in locating their missing child and bringing the perpetrator to justice.
