Commodore Aminu Shehu Appointed Chief of Staff: Strengthening Leadership in Rivers State Amid Political Transition

Commodore Aminu Shehu has been appointed as the Chief of Staff to Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), the Sole Administrator of Rivers State. In this role, Commodore Shehu will oversee the operations of the Governor’s office, coordinate government affairs, and act as a liaison between the Sole Administrator and the state executive branch. His appointment is part of efforts to reinforce the leadership structure and ensure efficient governance in Rivers State, which is currently navigating political transitions. Commodore Shehu brings experience from his background in the Nigerian Navy.
