The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has announced that corps members will begin receiving a new monthly allowance of N77,000 starting from March 2025. This increase is part of the government’s efforts to align corps members’ stipends with the new national minimum wage of N70,000, as per the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024. The NYSC and the Federal Government have reaffirmed their commitment to the welfare of corps members
