Ayo Arowojolu, the Okitipupa born media professional with multi-varied work experience spanning over 33 years is a year older and there are good reasons to celebrate this Public relations guru who has chosen to uphold three distinctively virtues of being outspoken, controversial and purposeful in living.
His style and focus clearly shows that he is on his own lane, running his own race and not given to competition. He had earlier declared : ” The only way to avoid joining the rat race of competition with others is to realize that the life of a child of God cannot be defined by worldly standards but by understanding that everyone is called to purpose.” The desire of Arowojolu to follow his purpose is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf.
Arowojolu holds a Master of Communication Arts (MCA) degree from the University of Ibadan, which he obtained in 2001, and before then, he had bagged a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the then Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 1990. He also graduated in Mass Communication from Chrisland University Abeokuta. These qualifications provided the impetus for his inherent attributes to flourish. He has navigated through various endeavours yet returning to his first love, public relations.
His sojourn in the world of public relations started as Imo State Correspondent for Champion Newspapers in Owerri to the newspaper’s Head Office in Lagos where he also became Head, Property Desk, and pioneered the newspaper’s Tourism and Travels column as Desk Editor between 1991 and 1993 before an adventure into the insurance sector as he worked at Asaron Insurance Brokers Ltd. He was back at Champion Newspapers in 1996 as Brands and Promotions Editor. Prior to joining the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB) in 2011, he also worked at The Westerner and Compass Newspaper.
His public relations drive notwithstanding, Arowojolu is also a Pastor who believes that: “A successful life is not defined by material things. A successful life is defined by God’s purpose for an individual and that a product is only successful to the extent to which it fulfils the purpose for its existence. Success is purpose determined and success is the progressive pursuit and attainment of God’s ordained purpose for an individual.”
“If you look at Jeremiah 1:5 – 7 and also Jeremiah 29: 11, our Creator has a thought concerning us, great thoughts, wonderful thoughts of peace and also an expected end in focus.
Little wonder, Arowojolu is a man that is never moved by situations and circumstances, weathering the storms, learning the lessons and forging ahead.
“God created us for a purpose. Walking in tandem with that purpose is what brings fulfillment, he said.
In tandem with his name, his love for others is great and can safely be described as being contagious. “Over the years, I have found out that I have a divine purpose around connecting people to their joy. It is for this reason, I see myself networking and helping others to succeed. Life must not be devoted to seeking only my own good but also the good of the larger others. The more I live for others, the more joy that well up within me.
“In finding fulfilment in life, it therefore means I must be intentional and deliberate and must keep walking intimately with the Author and Finisher of my faith who calls in the first place.
“God has designed a role for me in life and the only responsibility I have is to fit into that role and keep at it till we arrive at that Expected End.
On his reflection, “I have also reflected deeply over the years that I am born for battles. God has been faithful to always open great doors but I found out the adversaries have been countless. However, do you know what? The victories have been amazingly sure!
“The challenges have been certainly daunting but my God has always showed up at the nick of time. He is my Ever Present Help in the times of trouble.
“Finally, I have always leant to be content with His munificence and the little attainments. I don’t ever envy anyone and I have compassion on those that are a bit on the rough side of life. I do my best to uplift them. I fear God. I respect the brotherhood in Christ and I generally honour all men”.
Two major things that are constant with Ayo Arowojolu are his contagious smiles and his controversial views on issues, ValidViewNetwork reports.
He is a man who processes it the way he sees it without being bothered about whose ox was gored. Apparently aware of the views of his diverse and numerous followers, the founder of Boiling Point Arena, a social media advocacy group aptly described himself as a man that loves controversy. In his words, : ” I found out over the years that I am not wired up to live an ordinary life. There must be some kind of idyllic differentiation in life. I like it when things become controversial in life. I like it when things get to boil, when arguments are provoked. I do not fancy yes men. I like people who can express independent-mindedness.”

He is a jovial personality. He acts his name all the time. He is always smiling when he is of low spirit or high spirit. He enjoys having discussion with anyone he comes across. I was not astonished when he created the “Boiling Point Group” on the WhatsApp platform. He easily makes friends and gets along with people.
Ayo Arowojolu is a media practitioner who is contributing immensely to the growth and development of many media outfits within his catchment area. His support for ValidViewNetwork and other media platorms cannot be overemphasised.
Corroborating his love for the success of others, his beautiful wife stated : ”He is a man who desires the best for everyone around him. He doesn’t envy anyone doing well better than him.
Some of the views by Ayo Arowojolu may not be popular but are definitely not selfish, ValidViewNetwork posits.
Not a better summary could be given than the assertion of Dr. (Mrs) Foluso Arowojolu : ”He is one man battalion. If he is fighting a just course, he doesn’t care if he gets support of people or not. He is a defender of the weak. He doesn’t have penchant for cheating. That is why he fights for people who are cheated.
”Ayo Arowojolu is a lover of anything that is good. He is an amazing and wonderful husband. What can you wish a dynamic and distinguished husband other than the best of all things, more beautiful years in good health and God’s blessings. These and more are my wishes for him in the new year. I pray that the Almighty God will establish His plans and promises concerning him in Jesus name.”
On his vision for years ahead, the celebrant with thanks to God for an opportunity to live an impactful life and attain the new age of 56 stated : “.What I project in life is portraying myself as an evidence of a God-made individual. The reason is not far-fetched. Only God can give a man vision. My own vision must necessarily stem from God’s total picture of me, my divine purpose. In this wise, His Covenant and His Promises naturally encapsulate what I envisage of myself God said to me a long time ago: “I will ordain a place for you, and will plant you, and you shall dwell in your place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste you any more, as at the beginning”
Therefore, what I see of myself in years ahead is a picture of DOMINION, unbeatable in all ramifications. I see myself ride in high places where God will cause me to soar. I see that I will remain unshakeable, unmovable and unstoppable irrespective of storms and challenges. I see myself networking and connecting other people to their joy. I will keep doing good to all men and to faithful believers. By me, many shall rise to take their places out of obscurity into limelight.
ValidViewNetwork joins others to wish Mr Ayo Arowojolu a happy celebration at 56 and more glorious years ahead.
