Güler Erdoğan, a 27-year-old former Miss Europe-Kosovo titleholder, died in a tragic accident in Giresun, Turkey. She had been celebrating Eid with her family when she went to a nightclub and later drove while intoxicated.

Stopped at a police checkpoint, her blood alcohol level was found to be three times the legal limit. Panicked, Erdoğan fled on foot and fell 50 feet from an overpass onto a busy highway, where she was struck by a car. Turkish authorities are investigating the incident.
