Bola Shobowale, the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, has passed away after a prolonged illness. Her death occurred just days after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appointed Oladipupo Oluwaloni as the Acting Chairman to address the leadership vacuum caused by her absence due to health issues. Shobowale had been away from office for about a year, impacting council activities. Her passing marks the end of her tenure, which was marked by her efforts in local governance despite her health challenges.
