He was also chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2001 to 2005 and held ministerial roles in communications and steel development in the Nigerian Second Republic. Beyond politics, Ogbeh was a dedicated farmer, playwright, and intellectual who contributed substantially to Nigeria’s cultural and agricultural sectors.
