The high-level redeployment, announced in Abuja by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Appolonia Anele, affects several major operational theatres, critical command formations, and key administrative postings. Military authorities noted that the latest postings are tailored to inject dynamic expertise into critical sectors and align the service’s command structure with the realities of Nigeria’s evolving security landscape.

He emphasized that the primary focus must remain firmly anchored on safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity, extinguishing contemporary threats, and fortifying civil-military cooperation.

The military high command maintains that these structural adjustments will further bolster inter-agency collaboration and refine the force-employment framework required to sustain enduring peace across the federation.
