Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has added another feather to his cap as he secured an official nomination for the prestigious Governor of the Year Award at the upcoming 2026 Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.
According to an official correspondence signed by the founder of the Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, and dated October 26, 2026, the nomination serves as a testament to the Governor’s visionary leadership and impactful developmental strides across Ondo State.
The organisers highlighted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s relentless drive toward transforming critical sectors—spanning infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic expansion—anchored the decision to bestow the fitting tribute.
The letter partly reads:
“On behalf of Silverbird Group, I warmly congratulate you on your selection as a recipient of the 2026 Silverbird Governor of the Year Award. This recognition reflects our appreciation of your leadership and your contributions to the development of Ondo State.”
This latest recognition comes on the heels of several other plaudits acknowledging the Governor’s governance model, including accolades centered on educational reforms and human capital development within the state.
