At a time when winners of different reality shows in the country get million of naira among other gifts, the Lagos State University, Ojo, says it will give a sum of N500,000 (five hundred thousand) to its best-graduating student.
Imoitesemeh Yusuf, of the Department of Law, graduated with a CGPA of 5.00(First Class Honours).
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, made this known on Wednesday during the convocation press conference.
She announced that the convocation would also witness the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the institution, which was founded in 1983.
Olatunji-Bello added that the 2020/2021 academic session’s best graduating student was Divine Lopez of the department of Physiology, Lagos State University College of Medicine with a CGPA of 4.91(First Class Honours).
