The inauguration of the 10th Ogun state house of assembly has been postponed.
The inauguration was earlier fixed for this Tuesday 13th June, 2023.
In a terse statement seen by ValidView Network, the inauguration was shifted to Tuesday 20th June 2023.
No reason was given for the postponement.
The statement reads,
“This is to inform you that the Holding of the First Session of the Tenth Assembly of the Ogun State Legislature has been postponed to Tuesday, 20th June, 2023.
Any inconvenience caused by this announcement is regretted.
Thank you.

ValidView Network had learnt there is a battle by the Speaker of the assembly in the 9th assembly, Olakunle Oluomo to retain the seat with some of the members said to be favouring Hon Oludaisi Elemide.
Nine members-elect of the People’s Democratic Party are said to be working against the re-emergence of Oluomo, a 4th term legislature as speaker.
The All Progressive Congress has 17 members while the main opposition party, the PDP has 9 members.
