Jazzma Kendrick Accuses Rick Ross of Assault, Shares Injury Photos

Model and luxury real estate agent Jazzma Kendrick has publicly accused rapper Rick Ross of physically assaulting her during their on-and-off relationship, posting photos of a swollen and injured lip on Instagram Stories and declaring that the incident prompted her to leave.

Kendrick’s posts, which circulated widely on Sunday, began as a response to a follower who complimented her appearance and remarked that they could see “what Rick is seeing.” She replied bluntly: “He saw a punching bag.” She then shared images of her injured lip with the caption “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.”

In subsequent Stories she wrote: “I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will. It’s always good until it isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”

The posts did not specify a date or location for the alleged incident, nor did Kendrick indicate whether she had contacted police. Multiple reports describe this as the first time physical violence has been explicitly alleged in connection with the pair’s relationship.

Kendrick and Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, began appearing together publicly around early 2025, including at the launch of Ross’s RR22 vegan luxury bag line. Their relationship was marked by reported breakups and reconciliations; Kendrick announced a split in September 2025 before the two were later spotted together again, including into July 2026. Public scrutiny of their dynamic had previously included viral clips of Kendrick appearing to pull away during interactions.

Reactions arrived quickly. Longtime rival 50 Cent posted: “This punk put his hands on baby girl, he stressed that album didn’t sell. I’d laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke.” South African artist Cassper Nyovest, who has previously received shoutouts from Ross, wrote that the rapper had “just lost a fan in me. I can’t rock with nighas who beat women.”

As of Sunday evening reports from major outlets, Ross had not issued a public response to the allegations. One local entertainment site published a statement attributed to him in which he denied ever laying a hand on Kendrick, claimed the injuries resulted from a fall down stairs while she was wearing high heels and tipsy, and said he had helped her afterward. That account has not been independently confirmed by other news organizations covering the story.
