Federal CEOs Decorate Akume, Commit to 10m Votes for Tinubu in 2027

​The Forum of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Federal Parastatals has formally decorated the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, as its grand patron, while committing to deliver at least 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.

​The high-profile delegation, consisting of 20 federal agency heads, announced the decision during a courtesy visit to the SGF in Abuja.

​Speaking during the visit, the forum’s chairman and Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, lauded Senator Akume’s administrative stewardship, institutional wisdom, and critical role in harmonizing government machinery. Raji stressed that the forum is fully prepared to leverage its extensive nationwide professional and community networks to drive lawful, peaceful, ethical, and issue-based grassroots campaigns for the administration.

​Corroborating the chairman, the Chairman of the forum’s Media and Publicity Committee, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, described the CEOs as the core engine room responsible for executing and implementing federal policies. He noted that the group’s engagement strategy will prioritize educating citizens on government programs, communicating tangible achievements, and instituting feedback channels to address public concerns.

​Represented at the event by the Permanent Secretary of the Political and Economic Affairs Office, Mrs. Augusta Bekereadebo Warrens, SGF Akume expressed profound appreciation for the honor. He charged the heads of parastatals to actively bridge the information gap by taking the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda down to the grassroots.

​Akume cautioned against prevailing public disinformation, asserting that the administration’s ongoing economic reforms are structured to foster long-term national development rather than impoverish citizens. He further pledged the unalloyed institutional backing of the Office of the SGF to boost inter-agency synergy and enhance the productivity of public institutions.

​The visit also featured remarks from the Permanent Secretary of the Cabinet Affairs Office, Dr. John Chidiebere Ezeamama, who called for a robust, real-time digital communication framework between the forum and the OSGF to properly track and document developmental milestones.
