“My Mind Is Pure, I Didn’t Do It”: Poco Lee Breaks Silence Before UK Court Hearing

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has broken his silence over the criminal case against him in the United Kingdom.

Poco Lee insists he is innocent.

Speaking in a video conversation with social commentator VeryDarkMan, the entertainer said he remained confident because he knew he had not committed the offences alleged against him.“My mind is pure,” Poco Lee said.

He explained that his biggest concern during the ordeal was not the allegations themselves but the effect of his absence on his associates and business activities.

The dancer also acknowledged the support he received from Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Rahman Jago and others.

But while Poco Lee has spoken publicly about his innocence, his legal situation remains unresolved.

The Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed that the case is still active and that he is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026.

The hearing is a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing, where issues surrounding the defendant’s plea and preparation for trial are considered.

Poco Lee faces five sexual offence charges, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. He has denied the allegations.

The complainant’s identity remains protected by a reporting restriction.

Confusion had spread online over Poco Lee’s status, with different claims suggesting that he had been released or that the case had been withdrawn.

However, prosecutors have said the case remains live.

They have not publicly confirmed whether Poco Lee is currently in custody or has been granted bail.

That distinction matters.

Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence, and the allegations against him remain matters for the court to determine.
