“So You Don’t Have Money, But You’re Partying?”: Woman Alleges Blackmail Over Nude Photos

A Nigerian woman has broken down in tears after alleging that a Germany-based Nigerian man she met online is blackmailing her with her nude pictures.

The woman, who shared her story in a video on TikTok, said she met the man on Instagram and dated him for about eight months.

According to her, their relationship started normally. They spoke regularly, and she gradually became comfortable enough to trust him.

That trust, she now says, has left her in a difficult situation.

‘I Paid Him ₦7 Million’

The woman claimed she gave the man ₦7 million from money she had been saving to buy a car.

She said she had been saving since her university days and had raised the money through her hair business.

Instead of ending the financial demands, she alleged that the man later asked her for another ₦12 million.

“He called me on video call and said, ‘So you don’t have money to pay me, but you’re partying?” she recounted.

She also claimed that she later paid someone to trace the man’s location and discovered that some of the information he had previously given her was allegedly false.

The woman said the experience has left her traumatised and urged people, especially those who form relationships online, to be more careful.

“I never knew this thing could happen to me. I was just in love,” she said, while warning against sharing nude images, even with someone trusted.

The allegation has once again exposed the danger that can arise when online relationships quickly move from emotional trust to financial demands.

The woman’s account remains an allegation.

She has not publicly established the man’s guilt in court, and the accused person’s response was not included in the report.
