​”My Dad Was Killed”: Ubiribo’s Son Demands Answers

​The grieving son of British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has launched a passionate defense of his late father, fiercely disputing the viral narrative surrounding his death in Thailand.

​In a widely shared emotional video, Junior rejected the official medical findings and public reports that his 43-year-old father died from complications related to a genital enlargement procedure.

​“My dad was killed in March, and I say killed because although they’re trying to push this narrative that he needed his dick bigger, that’s not what happened,” Junior stated.

​The rebuttal follows an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, which concluded that Ubiribo died from a fatal pulmonary embolism after receiving approximately 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine filler during a medical tourism trip to Bangkok. Medical experts testified that postmortem examinations revealed material matching the cosmetic filler inside his lungs.

​However, Junior has cast doubt on the credibility of these accounts, pointing to severe physical discrepancies he claims were ignored. He alleged that his father’s body bore unexplained trauma, including a missing eyeball and a “giant gash” on his forehead—injuries he argues cannot be reconciled with a routine cosmetic injection.

​Beyond the circumstances of his father’s death, Junior leveled sharp accusations against Ubiribo’s wife, claiming she failed to provide transparent communication to the family about the final days in Thailand. He further alleged that significant portions of his father’s estate, properties, and personal valuables were mishandled or stripped away in the aftermath.

​“I had my inheritance stolen by his wife. Just crazy how many properties, guns, watches, just gone to South Africa with the wind,” Junior alleged.

​The controversy surrounds a prominent figure who moved fluidly within elite celebrity circles, maintaining close ties with Afrobeats star Davido and cultivating a following of nearly 185,000 people on Instagram through displays of wealth and high-end international travel. Following his death on March 6, Ubiribo was buried in London in a high-profile funeral attended by prominent Nigerian entertainment figures.

​While coroners and international medical reports maintain that the tragedy was a grim consequence of elective medical tourism gone wrong, Junior insists the public account is a distortion of reality.

​“I miss my dad. He didn’t deserve what happened to him, and he doesn’t deserve what’s happening to him now,” Junior said, maintaining that his family is still fighting for the absolute truth.
