Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has firmly dismissed viral reports claiming she has reconciled with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face.
The speculation gained momentum over the weekend following the resurgence of an old video on social media that captured the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub. Further unverified claims on platforms like X and various blogs falsely alleged a reunion and even an impending addition to the family.
Taking to her Instagram Stories to address the narrative, the mother of two put the rumors to rest, clarifying that the viral footage was heavily misrepresented.
”Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” Annie wrote.
The high-profile couple, whose relationship spans over two decades and includes two daughters, officially announced the end of their marriage in January 2025. With her latest statement, the actress has shut down claims of a reconciliation, urging the public and fans to disregard unverified reports.
