Hitmen Execute Patron Inside Packed Cape Town Restaurant

​CAPE TOWN — A wave of shock has gripped the beachfront community of Table View after a 33-year-old man was brutally executed inside a popular local restaurant during a brazen, broad-daylight assassination.

​The chilling incident unfolded on Monday afternoon at the bustling News Cafe, located along the prominent Marine Circle strip, leaving local residents and regular patrons deeply shaken by the audacity of the killers.

​According to eyewitness accounts and law enforcement officials, the victim—described as a frequent regular at the establishment—was sitting inside the restaurant at approximately 2:00 PM when two unidentified men suddenly stormed the venue.

​Without warning, the gunmen singled out the victim and opened fire at close range, pumping six bullets into him.

​“Two guys went in and shot the guy,” a traumatized bystander recalled. “He shot him. Six bullets. They took his phone and laptop.”
