
A wave of congratulatory messages and heartfelt tributes from notable personalities across different sectors has continued to trail the 59th birthday celebration of media professional and promoter of the popular public discourse platform, Boiling Point Arena, Ayo Arowojolu, who marked the occasion on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Those who sent goodwill messages to the veteran media practitioner include Iyabo Obasanjo, the Oba Saka Matemilola, the Oba Adedokun Abolarin, Secretary-General of the Association of African Universities, Prof. Olusola Oyewole, retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi, and the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
In her congratulatory message, Senator Obasanjo described Arowojolu as a dedicated media professional whose passion for principled discourse and national development has found lasting expression through the Boiling Point Arena platform.
She commended his consistency in creating “a credible platform for robust engagement on critical national issues,” adding that his commitment to informed dialogue remains a valuable contribution to Nigeria’s democratic development.
The Professor of Epidemiology also recalled their “brief but memorable engagement” during her gubernatorial media activities, noting that Arowojolu had continually demonstrated discipline, clarity of purpose and dedication to nation-building through media engagement.

In a separate tribute, Commodore Olawunmi, an Associate Professor of Global Counter Terrorism, speaking on behalf of Galilee College, described the celebrant as “a man of courage, substance and vision” who has deployed the Boiling Point Arena platform to enrich national discourse and strengthen democratic engagement.
He noted that the platform has evolved into a respected civic space for interrogating governance, challenging complacency and advancing meaningful conversations on national development.

Also celebrating the media professional, the International Coordinator of the Perspective Leadership Development Institute, Prof. Olusesi Michael Obateye, appreciated Arowojolu’s immense contributions to the PLD Institute and the Leadership Empowerment International Conference (LEIC).
