The tour, which covered all eight local government areas, was organized to express gratitude to Bayelsa residents for their overwhelming support in the recent governorship election.
At the final event held at the Ox-Bow Lake Pavilion in Yenagoa, Governor Diri highlighted the significant infrastructural developments achieved under his administration, emphasizing projects that have transformed the state capital’s landscape. The event attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd, with music, dancing, and cultural performances celebrating Bayelsa’s rich heritage. Several dignitaries were present, including Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, former Deputy Governors Werinipre Seibarugu and Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (rtd.), Senator Konbowei Friday Benson, federal and state lawmakers, commissioners, and other notable figures.
