The Federal Capital Territory Police Command, led by Commissioner CP Ajao Saka Adewale, has launched a thorough and discreet investigation and is conducting a manhunt for the unidentified male companion. The police have urged the public to remain calm and advised young women to exercise caution when interacting with strangers and to share their whereabouts with trusted contacts.
The Commissioner also called on hotel operators to improve security measures, including mandatory identity verification and installation of functional CCTV cameras to prevent such tragedies. This tragic case highlights the urgent need for all hotels, regardless of size, to operate with effective surveillance systems to protect guests and aid investigations.
Further updates will follow as the investigation progresses.
