The 2023 Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has concluded plans to meet with Alhaji Lamidi Apapa faction of Labour Party on Saturday as a way of finding lasting solutions to the crisis rocking the Party.
According to a reliable source, the meeting is scheduled for Saturday and all leaders loyal to Lamidi Apapa faction is expected at the meeting.
It was gathered that the meeting is to seek a political solution to the Party’s crisis ahead of the 2027 general elections
It could be recalled that Mr Peter Obi has on Tuesday prevented the political commission of Nigeria Labour Congress from sacking Barrister Julius Abure from the Party Secretariat.

While addressing the NLC members, he pleaded that he should be allowed to broker peace among all the warring parties in the Party, saying that they all belong to the same family, hence the need to harmonize and bring all parties to a round table discussions
