A Lesson for Nigerian Youths
The ADC’s list of candidates across 28 states is a reminder that elections are not just about the presidency.
The real power to shape the lives of Nigerians lies in the states, in the governors who control budgets, the deputies who support them, and the local governments that deliver services.
The same politicians who focus only on the presidency will never allow their own children to ignore state-level politics. Their children are taught to build from the ground up.
For young Nigerians, the lesson is clear: pay attention to state elections. The governor of your state has more impact on your daily life than the president.
The same leaders who ignore local government will never allow their own children to be excluded from the political process.
Engage at the local level. Demand accountability from your governor. And never forget that change begins at home.
