Mohbad controversy deepens with Law Lee’s inflammatory remarks on Instagram

Law Lee’s recent Instagram post has stirred controversy as he expressed his disdain for the late singer, Mohbad.

Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba, passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, under circumstances that sparked debates on social media.

In the post, Law Lee made derogatory remarks about Mohbad, stating that his hatred for the deceased increases every day, even after his death.

He attributed this animosity to Mohbad’s alleged disparaging remarks about fellow artist Zinoleesky, which led to a public confrontation by another artist, Portable.

Law Lee insinuated that if Mohbad had not made negative comments about Zinoleesky, Portable would not have targeted him.

This statement reflects the ongoing tensions and controversies within the music industry, where rivalries and confrontations often occur, both on and off social media platforms.

Mohbad, formerly signed to Marlian Music owned by Naira Marley, left the label in February 2022.

His death prompted an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command, leading to the arrest of Naira Marley and socialite Balogun Eletu, among others.

The probe into Mohbad’s death also raised questions about the treatment he received before his passing, implicating Naira Marley and others in alleged mistreatment.

Law Lee’s remarks add another layer of complexity to the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, highlighting the ongoing tensions and controversies within the Nigerian music industry.
