The Oyo state police command has declared sacked chairman of the state park management system (PMS), Mukaila Lamidi popularly known as Auxillary wanted.
Spokesperson for the command, Adewale Osifeso, disclosed this at a press brief at the state headquarter on Friday.
Osifeso said Lamidi, is wanted over cases bordering on attempted murder, arms dealing, murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping at the Oke-ogun and Ibarapa axis of the state.
The police had raided a hotel belonging to the 61-year-old suspect on Tuesday and recovered arms, ammunition, cash, and charms.
He was said to have escaped during the raid which led to the arrest of 78 other suspects said to be loyal to him.
According to Osifeso, Auxiliary’s last known location was Diamond Hotel, Alakia-Isebo, Egbeda LGA.
“Lamidi Mukaila is an indigene of Oyo state. He was born on the 9th, January 1962 (61yrs) and is dark in complexion.
“He is about 1.55m (5ft1), married and speaks Yoruba & English Language moderately,” the statement reads.
