A pall of grief has descended upon Ogun State following the sudden passing of Olatunde Ayinde Oladunjoye, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and a key consultant to the Ogun State Government. Governor Dapo Abiodun expressed profound shock and disbelief at the news, describing Oladunjoye’s death as a “terrible loss.”

“Receiving the news of the departure of our gallant, highly resourceful, uncommonly cerebral and hardworking party spokesman and consultant, Tunde Oladunjoye, was devastating for me,” Governor Abiodun stated. He emphasized the tragedy of losing such a “dynamic, loyal, and committed politician” in the prime of his youth.
The governor lauded Oladunjoye’s unwavering dedication and stabilizing influence within both the Ogun APC and the state government. “As a party man and aide, Oladunjoye never believed in half measures,” Governor Abiodun noted. “He went out of his way to defend the programmes, policies, philosophy, and the image of the Ogun State Government under our leadership. He was an effective and highly accomplished spokesman whose brilliance was never in doubt.”
Governor Abiodun further credited Oladunjoye as “a voice of courage” and “easily the best spokesman Ogun APC has ever produced,” highlighting his significant contributions to the administration’s achievements. “His doggedness, tenacity, and loyalty to the cause he believed shone through at all times, and there is no doubt that he contributed a lot in making Ogun APC a big brand,” he said.
“He was frank, down to earth, forthright, and focused. Tunde Oladunjoye was a good man. He will be sorely missed,” Governor Abiodun added.
The governor extended his deepest condolences to Oladunjoye’s family, the Ogun APC, and his friends, offering prayers for eternal rest. The state now mourns the loss of a dedicated public servant and influential figure.
