Abiodun Approves Promotion, Salary Upgrade for Ogun Primary Teachers

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved a pivotal career advancement for graduate primary school teachers on the Tutor Cadre, promoting them from Grade Level (GL) 16 to GL 17. This decision, announced in a statement by State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, targets stagnation at the cadre’s peak and aims to reignite motivation among educators.

The promotion affects hundreds of qualified teachers across Ogun’s primary schools, with the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) directed to implement it with immediate effect.
