Masked gunmen reportedly raided the Idowa community in the Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State on Monday afternoon, resulting in the kidnapping of Tunde Osifowokan, the farm manager at Flourishing Poultry Farm.
Osifowokan is the younger brother of the farm’s owner.
Additionally, concerns have been raised about another individual, Isiaka Aileru, a member of the Hausa community in the town, who has been missing since Monday.
According to reports, Aileru went to his farm on Monday and has not been seen since, leading to suspicions that he may have been abducted by the same gunmen.
The gunmen reportedly arrived at the farm in a commando style, demanding to see the owner of the business.

When none of the workers were willing to disclose the owner’s whereabouts, Osifowokan bravely identified himself as the owner’s younger brother, leading to his abduction.

He mentioned that the police are investigating the case, but no ransom demand has been made by the abductors yet.
Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu confirmed the abduction, assuring that the police are deploying all necessary resources and intelligence to secure Osifowokan’s release.
