In anticipation of his crossover super-fight against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Anthony Joshua has expressed his determination to “make a statement” by securing a knockout victory.
Currently riding a three-fight winning streak, Joshua aims to continue his ascent back into world title contention.
His most recent victory over Otto Wallin in December showcased his dominance in the ring.
Despite acknowledging the challenge posed by Ngannou, especially after the MMA star’s close match against Tyson Fury in his professional boxing debut last October, Joshua remains confident in his abilities and is eager to impress once again.

He emphasizes his focus on overcoming any challenges his opponent may present and is eager to showcase the hard work he has put into his training.
“Mentally I don’t worry so much about my opponent and look at what my opponent can bring to me and think, ‘how can I overcome these challenges they present?’ I work really hard to up my game and look forward to showing everything I’ve worked on.”
