A New Order – Kayode Ogunjobi

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3)

God Almighty who created the heaven and the earth is able to turn every situation around because all powers belong to Him. Psalm 62:11 says: “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this that power belongeth unto God.”

A new order is an indication of God taking you from where you are to a better place, a better situation, a greater impact and a peaceful sail. Our God is not a God of chaos but a God that loves something beautiful. The Bible confirms to us in Corinthians 14:26-32 that God is not a God of confusion but of peace. Every life that is passing through one challenge or the other, God Almighty will breathe peace into it and there shall be a new order in Jesus Mighty Name.

“New” simply means there was something old that must give way for something new. Interestingly, there is little or nothing that a man can do to ochestrate the new order but when God does it, it remains.

Today, we will be looking at the attributes of our God who is able to cause a new order.

1. God produces something out of nothing. He created all things from nothing. He is the creator of the entire universe and all things therein. He created you and therefore He is interested in you. He is interested in taking away the void in your life. He is interested in chasing away every form of darkness.

This simply means that a life that has been termed not useful “cannot amount to anything” can become exceedingly great to the consternation of people around. The disorder in the beginning is irrelevant as God can turn the situation around. The beginning of Brother Jabez in 1 Chronicles was very rough. There was something about his birth that was exceptionally more painful than the usual birth – either physically , financially or emotionally such that his mother named him Jabez. The name of a child is very important and it is uncommon for a parent to name his child Jabez. Howewer, when he cried to the manufacturer of his life, a new order manifested and the Bible recorded it in 1 Chronicles 4: 9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”

2.Our God is a God of beauty. He wants to perfect what He has started in your life. He did not stop at creating heaven and the earth but put it in good shape. James 1:17  “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”.

Little wonder, He declared that for every ashes there shall be joy Isaiah 61:3 As the Lord lives, your life will receive the beauty of God in Jesus name.

3. God hates darkness. Darkness can be in different forms; physical, spiritual, and financial. The joy of Bartimaeus is unimaginable when he could see (Mark 10:46-52). The darkness took away his real name such that everyone called him with his blind identity. I decree that every name God has not given you that the enemies have given you there shall be a new order in Jesus’ name. Darkness puts limitation on a life but a new order of God breaks barriers. You will break unimaginable barriers.

4. God spoke. Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. What has God said about you! It does not matter what any other persons have said about you. The only valid voice is the voice of God. Perhaps you do not know what He has said concerning you, He said that let there be light. He said that you will live and not die. This is an indication that the sickness shall not kill you. He said you will be above only and not below. So, if you are not above yet just believe that you are getting there and work towards it. God Almighty is speaking to your life that there is a new order that will usher you to your greatness.

5. God’s word is a command. “Let there be light”. A man can only command those who are under his control. God, the creator of heaven and earth has unlimited power to control, command and order. He can speak to both living and non-living things, and they obey him. Even the dead hear his voice. Today, God will speak to your life, situation, and business. Mark 4: 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Your life will receive peace in Jesus Mighty Name.

6. When He speaks, results follow …… “And there was light”. …..”And there was a great calm”. Everything that God Almighty has said concerning you, your health, your family, your ministry, business etc, shall come to pass in Jesus’ name. Signs and wonders follow a new order. A new order condemns the old order to trash bin. It makes the past inconsequential. Therefore, you do not need to be sulking on the past but must forge ahead to a glorious future that God has for you. Remember, old things have passed away and all things have become new. ( 2 Corinthians 5:17)

7. God delivers good gifts. saw that the light was good. Genesis 1:4 “And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” God Almighty wants our life and our situation to be good. With His power, He can cancel the order of darkness and deliver a new order of light into your life.

Brethren, it was never recorded that the earth returned to its former status of being void. No. Therefore, God’s gift arising from a new order is perfect.

However, the greatest gift a man can receive from God is the gift of salvation. If you have not given your life to Jesus, He is standing at the door of your heart knocking to deliver the gift to you. Will you open for Him?  Revelations 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

As the Lord liveth, your life will witness a New Order in Jesus Mighty Name.

Let us pray

1. Father, by your power take away every void in my life.
2. Father, everything that represent confusion in my life, please take them away.
3. Father, speak to my life today and let every negative words that have been spoken be nullified.
4. Father, let there be a new order of peace. calm in every aspect of my life
5. Father, let your words begin to manifest in my life. Let it cancel every name that the situation of my life has given to me.
6. Father, let my life continue to move forward, from glory unto glory and let me never have a better yesterday.
7. Father, I declare with my mouth, my life will not be void and darkness shall not prevail over me.
