The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD on Tuesday night declared an indefinite strike.
The President of NARD, Dr Emeka Orji, who disclosed this, said the strike will begin Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 12am.

Orji said, the decision was made during its July National Executive Council meeting in Lagos.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas had at a meeting on Monday with the resident doctors appeal to them to put their planned strike on hold for two weeks to enable the intervention of the parliament.
