The Deputy Vice – Chancellor ( Academic) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Prof. Christian Obiora Ndubuisi Ikeobi has reiterated the commitment of the Management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta under the leadership of Prof. Olusola Babatunde Kehinde, to the physical , aesthetic , human and material resource developments of the Nimbe Adedipe Library of the University.
The Nimbe Adedipe Library is the main library of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta named after its pioneer Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Nurudeen ‘Nimbe Adedipe.
Prof Ikeobi stated this during a statutory meeting of the University Library Management and Advisory Committee and tour of facilities of the University Library.
While commending the leadership of the Library under the leadership of Dr. Kehinde Abayomi Owolabi for the robust initiatives at raising the bar of excellence of the library and the University at large, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor charged the University Librarian and staff to continue to show commitment to the tripodal mandate of the University and ensure that all components of teaching, research and extension services are given maximum attention.
The University Librarian while intimating the statutory Committee with the developments in the Library reiterated that the leadership of the University library and all categories of staff had married into the vision of the Vice-Chancellor at making the Nimbe Adedipe Library the best among equals.
