The All Progressives Congress (APC) has outlined a proposed nationwide campaign rally schedule covering the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Party identified 12 strategic locations where President Bola Tinubu is expected to join the party’s presidential campaign activities.
The APC campaign timetable Tinubu 12 states schedule was released on Thursday, with the campaign set to kick off in Kaduna on October 24, 2026, and conclude with a grand rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027.
THE 12 STATES
According to the proposed schedule, the 12 locations and dates where Tinubu is expected to attend are:
1. Kaduna, Kaduna State — October 24, 2026 (Saturday)

The 12 venues are spread across all six geopolitical zones.
THE SIGNIFICANCE
The schedule was released days after Tinubu declared at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council that he would not attend every rally because governance remained a priority.
“I will still make room to talk to Nigerians directly,” Tinubu said. “The responsibility of this office does not pause, and we have bills to pay”.
The states selected for Tinubu’s personal appearances include Oyo, Bauchi and Adamawa, states linked to prominent opposition figures in the 2027 presidential race.
Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde is the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), while Adamawa is the home state of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate.

Lagos State is designated as the venue for the grand finale on January 9, 2027. The rally would mark the scheduled conclusion of the nationwide campaign itinerary, following the opening event in Kaduna in October 2026.
THE PROVISIONAL NATURE
The party noted that the schedule is provisional.”This is a proposed schedule and is subject to official confirmation,” it said.
WHY IT MATTERS
The campaign timetable provides the clearest indication yet of the APC’s strategy for 2027.
By limiting Tinubu’s public appearances to 12 strategic locations, the party is seeking to protect the President from the physical demands of a full campaign while relying on governors and party leaders to mobilise support at the grassroots level.
The selection of states also reflects a deliberate effort to project the President’s presence in regions where the opposition is strong, including Oyo, Bauchi and Adamawa.
ValidViewNetwork reports that the APC has released the proposed schedule. The campaign is scheduled to begin on October 24 in Kaduna.
