​ABEOKUTA – Ogun State is on the verge of joining Nigeria’s league of oil-producing states following major breakthroughs in exploration activities at Eba Island, located within the Ogun Waterside Local Government Area.

​The ambitious project has shifted into high gear after the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, officially granted Frontier Exploration Status to the state.
