VALENCIA, Spain — A Horrific act of vigilante justice has shocked the neighborhood of Marxalenes in Valencia, after a 24-year-old father allegedly stabbed his toddler’s speech therapist to death. The suspect claimed he caught the medical professional abusing his two-year-old son.
The suspect, identified locally as David G.S., surrendered to the National Police at a station in Burjassot on Monday evening. Officers reported that the young man walked into the station with his hands visibly stained with blood, confessing that he had just killed his child’s “abuser.”
A Fatal Confrontation over Security Footage
According to investigators, the incident unfolded at a private clinic where the 32-year-old speech therapist was treating the toddler. The father reportedly stepped out of the office briefly to smoke a cigarette. Upon returning earlier than expected, he discovered his two-year-old son with his trousers pulled down and his diaper removed.
Spurred by immediate suspicion, David G.S. demanded that the specialist show him the clinic’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) security footage to prove what had occurred. When the speech therapist refused to grant immediate access to the recordings, a violent argument erupted.
Witnesses nearby reported hearing the father shout, “Either you show me the cameras or I’ll kill you.”
The confrontation quickly escalated into violence. The suspect allegedly pulled out a pocket knife with a 15-centimeter blade and stabbed the health worker multiple times, ultimately slitting his throat.
Police Recovery and Forensic Findings
Following the attack, the father took his son back to their home on the outskirts of Valencia before driving to the Burjassot police station to turn himself in.
Emergency services and forensic teams rushed to the Marxalenes clinic, where they discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood. Medical experts confirmed that the speech therapist died from catastrophic blood loss and hypovolemic shock, having lost more than 20 percent of his body’s blood volume from the severe neck wound.
Detectives from the Homicide Group and Scientific Police have since recovered the 15-centimeter pocket knife believed to be the murder weapon.
Judicial Action and Ongoing Investigation
On Thursday, the presiding magistrate of Investigating Court Number 11 of Valencia ordered that David G.S. be remanded to a local prison under provisional detention without bail. The hearing was conducted behind closed doors, following standard judicial protocol in Spain. The suspect is currently facing an initial charge of homicide, though authorities noted the legal classification could change to murder as judicial proceedings advance.
While the father acted on the firm conviction that his son was being sexually abused, the National Police emphasize that the investigation remains fully active. Forensic units and cybercrime investigators are currently analyzing the clinic’s computer equipment and security cameras to verify if any abuse took place prior to the killing.
