Grief:Woman Seeks Answers Over Children’s Death, Missing Daughter

An Akure based Woman, Sandra Osatuyi has cried out for help over mysterious circumstances that led to the death of her two children and missing of the third Child.

It was gathered that the three daughters had been with their Father, Mr Olofintayo Moses Akinpelumi Adekunle, who divorced their mother, (Sandra) and he later relocated to Ibadan with the three children.

Moses Olofintayo who is from Idanre, later got married to another woman who was the stepmother of the children.

On Wednesday, last week, it was reported that two of the children (Olofintayo Prosper 14yrs and Olofintayo Elizabeth 12yrs) as well as their Stepmother died of alleged poison in a questionable circumstances at their Eleta area residence in Ibadan, Oyo state.

After the burial of the two children in Ibadan, Sandra who is from Akure, said all efforts to take possession of the remaining child, (Olofintayo Precious-Praise 18yrs), have proved abortive, as she alleged her former husband of keeping the surviving daughter away from her.

“I am pleading with Nigerians to intervene, and help me ask Moses Olofintayo the whereabouts of the remaining child. He is an officer of Immigration Service and I reported at the Oyo state police command on the for me to take over the care of surviving daughter.

“Police ordered him to release her to me, but since last week, i have not seen Precious (my daughter),” the bereaved mother cried uncontrollably.

Sandra called on Government and other human right/women crusaders to rescue her remaining daughter from her estranged lover.

The Oyo state Police Command is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
