Governorship, States assembly elections take centre stage

All is now set for the governorship and State houses of assembly elections in the country.

The polls come three weeks after the presidential and National Assembly elections, which has received mixed reactions from different stakeholders at home and abroad.

The governorship election is holding in 28 out of the 36 states of the federation, while election into houses of assembly will hold in all the 36 states

The polls were initially scheduled for March 11. But it had to be delayed by a week following the legal tussle as a result of the presidential election outcome.

All eyes will be on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for an improvement from the February 25 outing.
