Senator Adeola Unveils 90 Key Development Projects in Ogun West

Development momentum in Ogun West senatorial district is set to accelerate as Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola prepares to commission and hand over 90 pivotal development projects across the district’s five local government areas. The ambitious rollout touches critical sectors—roads, education, health, and commerce—offering substantial, tangible improvements to communities often long deprived of infrastructural attention.

The project unveiling will commence tomorrow, August 26, 2025, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, where 20 diverse initiatives will be commissioned in both Ota and Ado constituencies. The tour will then proceed to Ipokia, Yewa South, Yewa North, and Imeko-Afon, leaving no locality behind in this development wave.

In Imeko-Afon, residents will celebrate the opening of major road projects including Igbo Ifa Road and the first phase of the Ilara–Ilashe road rehabilitation, alongside a newly established Primary Health Centre and an ultramodern market that will invigorate local commerce.

Yewa North’s beneficiaries will witness the launch of newly constructed roads, a state-of-the-art market in Imasayi, and an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre in Ayetoro to boost digital literacy and education.

Yewa South is set to receive over 20 projects encompassing township roads in Ilaro, multiple health facilities, modern markets, and ICT infrastructure in schools—advancing community welfare and educational development.

In Ipokia, township roads will be commissioned in Idiroko and Agosasa, alongside new classrooms, health centers, and the Koko Ultramodern Market, enhancing both access and economic activity.

Finally, Ado-Odo/Ota will see the inauguration of 20 projects, including new markets in Atan and Ijako, upgraded school blocks, health centers, and key road networks such as the Lusada–Alapoti Road (Section 2).

Reflecting on these interventions, Senator Adeola emphasized, “This is not about projects on paper. It is a commitment to delivering visible, grassroots development that people can see and feel. Each classroom, health center, road, and market is a testament to the dedication of this administration and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu. Together with Governor Dapo Abiodun, we are transforming Ogun West.”
