Nigerian Couple Poisoned by Husband’s Brother Over Property Scheme, After Returning from U.S.

A Nigerian couple who recently returned from the United States with hopes of settling down in their newly built home have met a tragic end, allegedly at the hands of the husband’s younger brother.

According to reports, the couple had entrusted a significant sum of money to the younger sibling while still abroad, with the instruction to oversee the construction of their dream home in Nigeria. The brother assured them that all was progressing well and that the mansion would be ready upon their return.

However, the couple never lived to see the morning.

They were found dead in their sleep under suspicious circumstances. Preliminary investigations by authorities have pointed to poisoning, with the husband’s younger brother emerging as the prime suspect.
